Visby Golf Club, located on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, is consistently ranked as Sweden’s number one golf course. With its spectacular coastal setting, immaculate fairways and smooth-rolling greens, it attracts golfers from across the world. But maintaining those standards under constant pressure takes experience, dedication and the right equipment.
For nearly two decades, Course Manager Petter Lindblad has been leading Visby through the unique challenges of its coastal location. “Our biggest challenges are excess water in the low points and the heavy play pressure. We need to work efficiently and quickly while maintaining high quality.”

At SISIS, we know the strength of our global network lies in working closely with our dealers and the turf professionals they serve. This month, Tom Worthy, Regional Sales Director EMEA, travelled to Sweden to support our long-standing dealer HAKO at their special golf event, which brought together greenkeepers and course managers from across the country.
