Howardson Group Engages Grounds Professionals at Cardiff City Stadium Event

The Howardson Group team was proud to attend this year’s GMA Connect 2026 at Cardiff City Stadium on 21st April, where we joined industry professionals from across the UK for a day focused on innovation, collaboration and the future of grounds management.

Representing our trusted brands, Dennis and SISIS, the team showcased a range of specialist equipment designed to support high-quality turf maintenance across a wide variety of sports and amenity surfaces.

A key highlight of the day was the demonstration of our latest electric Dennis machines, which drew strong interest from attendees aiming to reduce emissions and operating noise without compromising performance. As sustainability continues to shape the industry, battery-powered solutions are becoming an increasing priority for facilities across the UK.

The SISIS range also generated significant attention, particularly the Quadraplay. This versatile system delivers four essential maintenance operations in a single pass- aeration, brushing, rolling and surface grooming- enabling grounds teams to work more efficiently while maintaining consistent playing conditions. Its flexibility makes it well suited to both routine maintenance and renovation work.

Also featured was the Multitiner, a proven aeration solution designed to relieve compaction, improve drainage and promote stronger root development. Its precision and ease of operation continue to make it a popular choice for maintaining optimal soil health throughout the season.

Completing the SISIS line-up was the Twin Play implement frame, which allows multiple maintenance tasks to be carried out simultaneously. By combining operations in one pass, it helps increase productivity while reducing both time and labour demands - an important advantage for teams managing large or multi-use surfaces.

Throughout the event, the team engaged with grounds professionals, sharing practical advice and discussing how the right equipment can support day-to-day turf care challenges. Events like GMA Connect provide valuable opportunities not only to demonstrate equipment, but also to better understand the evolving needs of the industry.

Speaking at the event, Scott Reynolds commented:
“GMA Connect continues to be a great platform for meaningful conversations with grounds teams. There’s a clear shift towards smarter, more sustainable ways of working, and it’s been really encouraging to see the level of interest in both our electric Dennis range and the versatility of the SISIS equipment. Having the chance to demonstrate the machinery in person and talk through real-world applications makes a big difference.”

It was a pleasure to connect with so many dedicated professionals, hear their insights, and explore how the right solutions can contribute to safer, high-performing playing surfaces.

We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us. At Howardson Group, we remain committed to supporting the people behind the UK’s playing surfaces with reliable and effective turf maintenance solutions.

The GMA Connect series continues, and we’re looking forward to the next stop at Joie Stadium on 14th May. We hope to see you there.
